KentuckyOne Health in Lexington, Kentucky has retained Witt/Kieffer to assist in the search for a high caliber Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). KentuckyOne Health recently announced their intent to focus on a smaller, more localized approach to care delivery. As a result, they are rebuilding a regional structure based in Lexington, KY. KentuckyOne Health has refocused the organization on a footprint centered on Central and Eastern Kentucky. With net revenues of approximately $1 billion, the system includes six acute care hospitals, a 220 bed behavioral health facility, as well as KentuckyOne Health Partners, a care management company and the KentuckyOne Health Medical Group.
The CNO is a key member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for the practice of nursing and nursing care throughout the market’s continuum-of-care sites and programs. He/she will provide leadership and strategic direction for all patient care services in accordance with the mission, vision and values of KentuckyOne Health. The CNO will achieve this through the development and implementation of key strategic and operational initiatives that facilitate optimal care delivery and population health management in a person-centered, financially sound, safe and quality care setting. The CNO will continue to build a culture of excellence by partnering closely with physicians, key executives, hospital and system leaders to support growth initiatives while driving a performance-based culture and creating a strong sense of “systemness” throughout the organization.
Master’s degree in a related field required.
