SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)
Support Baptist Health strategic plan by directing, overseeing and evaluating the department of clinical education staff who assess learning needs, develop, facilitate and promote the education and development of clinical staff. Oversight includes collaboration with leadership of all clinical disciplines to maintain standardization of education and competency materials and techniques throughout Baptist Health. Manages expenses and revenue for the department. Promote evidence based practice, creativity, innovation and interactive learning in all educational offerings by the department.
RN license. Required. MSN or Master’s in related field required. Experience in developing and executing training activities. At least 5 years of clinical and/or administrative nursing experience; evidence of at least 2 years teaching experience required
