This position will provide experienced and innovative insight and guidance to healthcare planning design projects; serve as a change agent for healthcare organizations; facilitate process improvement initiatives with healthcare clients; and develop operational workflows and future state processes. This position could work from any of our regional office locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain current knowledge in healthcare trends, best practices, metrics and benchmarks and their impact on existing work environments.
Facilitate problem solving with client as part of the design team.
Analyze and research of innovative solutions consistent with contemporary healthcare trends.
Analyze volume and operational data to determine space needs.
Lead process and performance improvement initiatives on identified projects.
Facilitate alignment of architectural plans with operational plans.
Serve as a knowledge resource to healthcare architects and interior designers.
Participate in business development, proposal responses, interview and presentations. Must be capable of delivering effective and compelling reasons to hire BSA LifeStructures.
Work closely with BSA LifeStructures and client’s leadership team to define, manage, and deliver the project scope.
Develop and manage project budgets for operations consulting services.
Provides knowledge leadership via regular internal and external publication of industry related articles and presentations.
Develop and assist with operational, space, and functional programs as required.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Masters Degree in Health related field (MSN, MBA, MHA, MPH, other).
20+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
Academic Medical Center or Ambulatory Care experience desired
Previous healthcare leadership role required: Director Level or above
