The CNO is a critical member of the executive leadership team at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and will oversee all of nursing. The CNO will report directly to the President of Sinai Hospital. Chief Nursing Officer is a key senior leader and member of the Leadership Team. The CNO is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of nursing operations. The CNO will be a visionary leader that brings clinical solutions to the new value-based delivery of care and exhibit a demonstrated ability to drive results, champion innovation and stimulate new thinking. Previous experience as a Chief Nurse Officer is strongly preferred; however, candidates with senior level nursing leadership experience will be considered. Evidence of progressive experience in nursing leadership, including at least seven years experience in nursing administration in an acute care setting is required. A Master’s degree in nursing or a related field is required. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligible to receive such a license.
