Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, located in Hartford, CT has retained WK Advisors to assist them in a national search for a Director of Emergency, Critical Care & Transport Services is designated as a level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center that treats more than 60,000 children each year. This free-standing children’s hospital is nationally ranked as one of the best children’s hospitals that offers comprehensive, world-class health care services in a patient family centered care environment.
The Director of Emergency, Critical Care, and Transport Services at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center will be responsible for delivering the highest quality of patient care and operations within the Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Critical Care and Transportation Services at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. This executive leader reports directly to Sr Vice President of Clinical Services/Chief Nursing Officer.
Master’s degree in nursing or directly related health care field is required. Minimum of five years of management experience in emergency nursing/patient care leadership and over ten years experience in a large, complex healthcare system. Experience in a designated trauma center and/or children’s medical center would be strongly preferred.
