The Vice President of Ambulatory Services is primarily responsible for overseeing the operations of a portfolio of ambulatory hospital based outpatient departments (HBOD). Participates in long-range strategic planning, short range operational implementation and oversight of day-to-day operations of assigned departments to ensure sites are managed in a consistent manner that embraces Mount Nittany’s patient-centered service excellence and clinical quality & safety standards while demonstrating strong financial stewardship through the maximal optimization of efficient operational processes. In addition to providing operational oversight, this individual is a key collaborator with the relevant departments and a thought leader in ambulatory quality and safety, coordination of care across the continuum, use of technological tools and solutions, metrics reporting, customer service, and process improvement. Directly supervises the HBOD operations and staff: radiation oncology, wound care, pain clinic, sleep lab, diabetic foot clinic, breast center, and ambulatory surgery center. Provides matrix supervision of outpatient sites for imaging & lab operations and staff. Responsible for ongoing strategies and tactics to secure market share capture and growth for HBOD: Cancer Institute, Radiation Oncology, Neurophysiology Sleep Lab, Breast Center, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and outpatient sites for imaging & laboratory services.
5+ years of progressive experience overseeing a variety of Hospital Based Outpatient operations is preferred.
Demonstrated business development work experience preferred.
Marketing experience desired, but not required
