We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trauma Program Manager to lead the trauma program and work with a specialized team at Legacy Emanuel, a Level 1 Trauma Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons.
The Trauma Program Manager will have the opportunity to keep expanding the trauma program structure, and develop and monitor the trauma quality program to ensure compliance with the American College of Surgeons criteria. She/he will collaborate with the trauma leadership team on issues relating to trauma services, including the development of staff within the program, and will build community and physician relationships for our trauma program. This position will also provide leadership to the Trauma Outpatient Clinic, Trauma Nurse Coordinators, Trauma Nurses Talk Tough injury prevention program and the Trauma Registrars.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical nursing leadership role.
Previous trauma clinical experience and clinical program management experience, related to trauma or emergency services, is highly desirable.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to develop effective relationships with staff, other departments, physicians, management, patients and families are essential to be successful in this role.
