The Manager, Patient Care Services – PICU is a leadership role that has comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for designated clinical area(s). Manager responsibilities include: fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of patient/family centered care and service, patient and staff satisfaction, program development, managing and developing teams, and ensuring integration with the clinical enterprise. Managers are also expected to coach and mentor less experienced peers as well as other members of the health care team.
Required Position Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Nursing Program, BSN Required, MSN Preferred
Five Years of RN Pediatric ICU experience required including leadership experience
Active Tennessee RN license
We are a state of the art 24-bed intensive care unit that provides quality critical care services while supporting families through one of the most challenging times of their lives. Our patient focus is to provide a high level of care that is collaborative, innovative and family centered. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit staff is experts in the care of children with various conditions including neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal/genitourinary, orthopedic, burns, traumatic injuries, non-accidental injuries and cardiovascular overflow. We are a Level 1 Trauma Center and an ANCC Magnet organization. We are extremely proud of the teamwork, collaboration and respect within our 130 member staff and other members of the healthcare team.
