The Director of the Nursing Division performs high-level management and administrative duties in the planning, coordinating, and direction of multiple public health care nursing programs and services. The Director is a key member of the executive management team.
Programs include maternal health, prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, pediatric health, immunizations, women’s health, and disease control/prevention within the capacity of the Nursing Division and Tri-County Health Department.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from a school accredited by the NLAC or AACN and a Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university with major coursework in nursing, public health, public administration, business or a related field. At least ten years' progressive leadership experience performing in public health nursing programs, five years of which must include supervision at the Nursing Manager level or equivalent.
