Provides the leadership and oversight for the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the VNH quality, safety and compliance programs, clinical practice standards and regulatory readiness. Champions a culture of quality and safety through leadership, role modeling, teaching and mentoring. Develops systematic, Agency-wide approaches to identifying, designing, prioritizing and monitoring all quality management activities.
Serves as the Compliance Officer for the organization and acts as staff to the CEO and Board of Trustees’ corporate compliance function. Monitors and reports results of the compliance/ethics efforts of the organization to the Board and senior management team on matters relating to compliance. The Compliance Officer, is authorized to implement necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objectives of an effective compliance program.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or similar discipline
A minimum of five related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education, Experience and Certification
Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or similar discipline
Experience in home based care
Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
