Witt/Kieffer has been retained by Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) to conduct the search for their next Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, visionary, experienced healthcare executive to actively engage as a member of the ORMC leadership team by providing clinical expertise, advice and strategic direction. Orlando Regional Medical Center is an 808-bed hospital in downtown Orlando and the flagship medical center of Orlando Health. For nearly 100 years, ORMC has provided the most advanced options available for surgical, medical, rehabilitative and emergency care. Today, through their state-of-the-art technology and leading medical specialists, they provide a comprehensive continuum of care for trauma, heart, vascular, stroke, neuroscience, oncology, surgery and orthopedic patients. Reporting to the ORMC Hospital CEO and the System CNE of Orlando Health the CNO is responsible for all hospital patient care operations. This role provides leadership and oversight to all patient care provided within ORMC by planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating patient care and unit activities to deliver high quality patient care and meet all accreditation and licensure requirements. The CNO is responsible for the integration of all clinical activities for the organization supporting the mission of ORMC. The CNO serves as a member of the senior executive leadership of the organization and participates in the Governing Body. In addition to ensuring positive operational, financial and clinical performance, the CNO is expected to reinforce ORMC's performance goals relative to patient satisfaction, clinical quality, patient safety, employee engagement and physician relations.
Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in health care, with management experience in acute care services for adults. The ideal candidate must also have demonstrated in-depth experience in managing in clinical operations. We seek candidates who possess superior relationship and team-building skills, and bring a collaborative approach to problem-solving, program-building and process improvement.
A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field and a Master’s degree in nursing or a related field is required. One of the degrees must be in Nursing. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or eligible to receive such a license.
