The Nurse Manager will have outstanding leadership skills in Perioperative Services and will be a transformational leader that can collaborate effectively with staff, peers, physicians, and administrative leadership in a complex academic medical center setting. Will be responsibility for a team consisting of highly qualified staff, assistant manager and educator support for the departments of Perioperative Services. The Nurse Manager will oversee the organization, planning, direction and evaluation of patient care operations within their area.
Seeking a transformational leader that will lead and mentor staff.
Previous progressive clinical & leadership experience in Perioperative Services.
Ability to lead a high volume department with over 900 surgeries per month
Ability to work and collaborate with different levels of leadership and staff in a complex healthcare setting.
Ideal candidate will be an experienced leader that can build staffing and further develop work environment culture; with a collaborative management style.
Someone that can lead change management and work effectively in a large complex medical center setting.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly renowned university medical center
Master's Degree required or near completion
Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role within the Perioperative setting.
