Commensurate with experience
Responsible for the academic coordination of the Health Care Leadership (HCL) specialty. Administrative, academic, practice, and scholarship responsibilities are expected. Coordination with departments within VUSN, across the university and medical center, and the community is expected. Teaching responsibilities are primarily in the MSN HCL specialty, but opportunities may be available to teach in other courses in the MSN, DNP, or PhD programs.
A doctorate in nursing or related field
Five years of substantive professionally-related experience or executive nurse leadership with evidence of scholarship
National certification preferred
Formal teaching experience preferred
Commitment to working with diverse populations
An unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee
Must be willing to relocate
