In this highly visible, energetic, transformation role, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic leadership to propel Alameda Health System’s mission of Caring, Healing, Teaching, and Serving All.
As the CAO/CNE, you will be accountable for the delivery of quality, compassionate, culturally competent, cost effective care for the acute care sites, including but not limited to, inpatient nursing, perioperative, emergency services and ancillary services. In addition, you will be responsible for managing and leading the administrative financial and operational services for acute care hospitals within the Alameda Health System and serve as a leader overseeing the development and implementation of policies and system strategic planning.
A Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Public Administration, a Health related field, or other closely related field
Eight years of experience in an increasingly responsible managerial or hospital administration capacity in a hospital, a related facility, or similar health care organization
A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California at the time of hire or within the first six months of employment

We are comprised of three acute care hospitals (Highland, Alameda, a
