Vice President, Nursing/Patient Care Services
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH), located in the beautiful and historic town of Astoria, Oregon is seeking an experienced nurse leader to provide dynamic leadership as our Vice President of Patient Care Services.
This Senior Leadership position provides high level, strategic, and executive level leadership for of all nursing services within our Critical Access Hospital plus Hospice, our Cancer Collaborative, Pharmacy and Case Management. Our VP of Patient Care Services Supports the Professional Staff through the peer review process and professional staff committees. In addition, they are responsible for facility readiness for accreditation, federal, and state surveys/inspections.
This is a CMH leadership position that is responsible for delivering customer service which anticipates and exceeds patient expectations and ensures team members throughout the entire organization are creating a memorable and positive patient experience.
This position requires an active Oregon nursing license with Master Science in Nursing (MSN) and at least five years nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting with a demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing standards, Quality, Risk and Patient Safety standards. The VP of Patient Care Services must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with our governing body, management teams, professional staff members and other leaders in the hospital.
