As a member of the administrative team, the CNO participates with the governing body, administration, and medical staff in the organization's decision making structure and processes, and shares responsibility for fulfilling the organization's mission. The CNO is responsible for establishing productive working relationships with the medical staff and support departments, and for being responsive to community needs.
* Masters Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
* Knowledge of management as normally acquired through seven years of experience working in a Medical Center or similar nursing setting in a progression of management positions.
