The Nursing Director coordinates and directs the patient care and management activities in the Patient Care Services Division within the guidelines of the Joint Commission and State regulations. The Director is responsible for achieving and maintaining competent services with goals consistent with those of UC Health and Patient Care Services. He or she is accountable for the clinical practice of nursing. In providing leadership to Patient Care Services, he or she also ensures the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the institution’s mission, goals, and objectives .

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Master's degree in nursing, business administration or healthcare administration required.
Registered Nursing license in Ohio.
Certification in specialty area strongly preferred.
3+ years nurse management experience required.
Must have demonstrated experience in budgeting for operations and human resource management.
