EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES (Essential job requirements listed in bold)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing or related field or currently working to obtain
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) card or obtain within 6 months of hire
Complete hospital approved fetal monitoring within 6 months of hire and every 2 years thereafeter
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support card or obtain within 6 months of hire
Advanced practice credential in obstetric or neonatal field (e.g. Certified Nurse Midwife, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner) preferred
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant credential or equivalent preferred
Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Specialty certification in area of responsibility preferred
