Responsible for leadership oversight for the Inova Learning Network. Responsible for system wide training, professional development programs and orientation for all Inova nurses. Directs a system-wide approach to the Magnet ® Recognition Program. Ensures that all components of nursing education are consistent with quality standards determined by Clinical Effectiveness teams and NDNQI Benchmarks. Provides oversight for nursing evidence based practice and research. Manages all grants and the Edelman Center for Nursing. Facilitates all residency programs including but not limited to Nurse Leader Residency Program, RN new graduate residency program and APN residency program, just to name a few. Ensures that residency programs address strategic priorities of Inova health System and prepare candidates to make an effective transition to their primary role. Works in collaboration with the EVP,CNE and CNOs to implement, evaluate and identify best practices related to the Nursing Model of Care and Professional Practice Model. Assists with special projects related to Nursing Strategic Plan.

Experienced nursing leader with 10 years' of senior nursing leadership experience in acute care nursing.
Doctoral preparation in Nursing.
