We are currently seeking a:
Director of Nursing
Responsible for assigned clinical areas to assure quality improvement, financial performance and human resource management direction.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Collaborates with co-directors and managers to develop continuing education and competency programs to meet standards of practice. - Develops and implements a strategic and operational plan for service areas that address quality improvement, financial performance, human resource management, information management and patient satisfaction. - Develops and implements a structure that integrates physicians into decision making with significant involvement in strategic planning. - Meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements and quality measures in collaboration with other disciplines, departments and managers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of finance practices and principles. - Good computer skills. - Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and presentation skills. - Ability to analyze data and develop action plans. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Demonstrates clinical expertise for assigned area. - Demonstrates courteous, kind, caring, compassionate, positive attitude and support to the organization.
Education - A Master's Degree from a recognized college or university in Nursing or a closely related field is required.
Experience - 8 years Healthcare/Medical Registered Nurse required
