Beebe Healthcare is Seeking an Executive Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line

Summary: General: Serves as the Executive Director for one or more patient care units, clinical areas, or ancillary services. Assumes 24-hour accountability for excellence in clinical practice of patient care. Utilizes patient care process, management theory, and organizational skills in accomplishing goals. Provides administrative direction to the development of the Service Line and the Medical Center Management team. Specific: Responsible for Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, Vascular Services, Cardiac Cath, Open Heart Unit, CVSD.
Other information: Five years progressive management experience. Demonstrates leadership abilities, including Demonstrated emotional maturity and stability. Demonstrates commitment to quality patient care.
Responsibilities: Delegates the coordination of patient care between multiple disciplines, i.e., surgeons, anesthesia, nursing staff and ancillary staff. Accountable for the development and process of writing/revising and updating policies and procedures and developing, implementing and evaluating new procedures. Develops and meets departmental and individual goals and objectives that support the organizational strategic objectives. Promotes and encourages educational opportunities for professional and ancillary staff. Provides for education opportunities to meet the PI needs of the department. Identifies interdisciplinary concerns/problems/issues and appropriately and successfully addresses in a timely manner. Works with physicians to review department utilization and reduce denials. Reviews medical records and provides summary to medical director. Maintains knowledge of and maintains compliance with reimbursement regulations and ensures optimal reimbursement. Reviews medical records and provides summary to medical director. Accountable for the day to day operational performance of areas of responsibility. Delegates, supports, facilitates activities and supports medical and management staff. Works with Chief Physician to develop order sets, quality improvements and addresses areas of concern.

Education: Essential: * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Magnet Recognition)
