EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is currently seeking candidates for the SVP/CNO position. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for providing system wide leadership and direction of nursing care and nursing practice for EvergreenHealth. This includes but is not limited to: Nursing Operations, Women’s & Children’s Services, Acute Care Services, Emergency Services, Respiratory Therapy, Care Management, Employee Health, Infection Control & Prevention, Infusion Care, Dialysis, Organ, Tissue Donation Services and Home, Hospice & Palliative Care.

Primary responsibilities include:
Develops and implements short and long-range strategic plans for the delivery of nursing care.
Provides vision, direction and leadership for the nursing division and oversees nursing practices through the system.
Develops, implements and monitors the effectiveness of financial planning strategies for the nursing division.
Ensures compliance with system policies and procedures, regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, state and federal.)
The successful candidate will have a BSN and be master’s prepared in nursing and/or health services, public or business administration and have 7 years of progressive management experience with a minimum of 5 years serving at the senior leadership level in an acute care environment. Current or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington is required. The ideal candidate will also have experience working within a multi hospital system. Prior union experience is beneficial, but not required.
