Seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager
After opening up a multi-million dollar Heart Pavilion with some of the Best Cardiac Surgeons and clinical Heart Team in the country, Lankenau Medical Center continues to expand their General OR team.
This is a Fulltime permanent position with 24/7 accountability. With 14 Operating Rooms and 1 dedicated Urology Suite in the Main Operating Room, the patient population ranges from Level II Trauma, Ortho, General, Vascular, Cardiac, GYN / GU, Plastics, Neuro / Spine, GI, ENT, and more. With a large team of Nurses, Surgical Techs, and other ancillary staff, this Magnet-Status OR team is focused on patient safety and quality measures.
The Nurse Manager of the Operating Room will also lead the ambulatory procedure center, which has four operating rooms. The Manager would also work hand-in-hand with the Director of Perioperative Services and executive staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient care. Overseeing the operations of the nursing unit(s) both clinically and administratively, he/ she is accountable for providing leadership to staff in the maintenance of professional nursing practice, provision of quality patient care and a culture of safety.

Experience: Prior management, supervisor, charge, coordinator, or other related leadership experience required. Three to five years clinical experience in the Operating Room required. Trauma management experience preferred.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN required, MSN or other related Masters Degree willing to enroll within 6 months of high, in process, or completed. Ability to communicate proficiently in English to perform job duties.
