The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Nursing has an opening for a full-time tenure-track faculty position as Lead Faculty in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program's Nurse Executive in Innovations and Leadership track. This program focuses on providing nurses the knowledge and skills to be competent and entrepreneurial executive leaders who can transform health care outcomes in an ever-changing health care system. Faculty responsibilities include curriculum/program planning, facilitating and implementing innovative teaching strategies, and scholarship. Position may include clinical practice in nurse executive role. Experience in graduate online teaching methods is preferred, but a motivated candidate without teaching experience who meets the educational and professional requirements will be considered.
Minimum faculty position requirements include a DNP or Ph.D. in Nursing and a commitment to scholarship. Experience in a nurse executive role is required. Candidates should be eligible for RN or APRN licensure by the State of South Carolina and certification in the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
