Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Specialist Acute Care - Albany
St Peter's Health Partners is looking for a health care professional who wants to make a difference.
The patient safety and quality improvement specialist provides leadership, consultation and facilitation of the design, development and implementation of an effective patient safety and quality improvement program that evaluates, improves and measures patient safety and quality of care/service for the assigned areas of accountability. The patient safety and quality improvement specialist provides the tools, techniques and skills necessary for patient safety, outcomes measurement, process improvement as well as thorough and credible root cause analysis processes.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Two years of demonstrable work experience in patient safety, the design, use and management of databases, trend analysis, quality improvement or comparable experience preferred; strong organizational skills; strong communication and facilitation skills. Basic computer skills are required; use of computerized data management systems, and statistical control tools and techniques preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelors degree in a health related field. Clinical background and master's degree preferred
