This position will lead the ICU, Stroke/Cardiac, and Telemetry teams and report to the Director of Patient Care Services. The qualified candidate will have 5 years of ICU experience in an acute care setting with 2 years of experience in ICU management. BSN, BLS, and ACLS are required with specialty certifications strongly preferred. The ICU provides patient care services on a 20 bed unit, Cardiac/Stroke services a 10 bed unit, and Telemetry is a 24/7 Central Monitoring unit. The combination of these units has an average headcount of 78 FTEs. This position is assisted by a team of Assistant Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialist for the ICU, and a RN Educator. Parker Adventist Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Care accreditation and a Chest Pain Accreditated facility. In addition, the organization is embarking on its Magnet designation.
