Witt/Kieffer has been engaged to assist Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania in their search for their next Chief Nursing Officer (CNO.) The CNO is a critical member of the executive leadership team at Geisinger Holy Spirit and will also participate in system level initiatives with Geisinger Health System. This is a well respected Magnet designated organization and we are seeking the ideal candidate to further the great nursing tradition at Geisinger Holy Spirit.
Founded in 1963, Geisinger Holy Spirit is a community Catholic health system sponsored by the Sisters of Christian Charity. Geisinger Holy Spirit officially joined the Geisinger System family in November of 2014. Reporting directly to Kyle Snyder, Geisinger Holy Spirit Chief Administrative Officer and to Susan Robel, Geisinger Health System Chief Nursing and Patient Experience Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer will be an engaging leader with an effective communication style. This executive will focus on the current and future state of nursing practices by guiding the nursing department through change and defining the department for a systematic approach throughout Geisinger Holy Spirit. Evidence of progressive experience in nursing leadership, including at least ten years experience in nursing administration is required. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field and a Master’s degree in nursing or a related field is required. Potential candidates must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania or eligible to receive such a license.
