Magee Resource Group has been retained by the University of Kansas Hospital to recruit a Director of Cardiology Clinical Practice.

Receiving a full hospital accreditation from The Joint Commission, it has over 600 staffed beds & almost 300,000 outpatient visits per year.
This position will report to the Vice President of Cardiac Services. The Director of Cardiology Clinical Practice will provide leadership and clinical operations management for 9 ambulatory clinic locations, as well as a large CV Imaging practice across the ambulatory setting, drawing on knowledge of Joint Commission, governmental and other regulatory standards and guidelines. This person will also be experienced in medical care delivery in outpatient settings, and exhibit professionalism and business skills in accordance with UKHS policies and standards. He or she will be a member of the health system's senior nursing leadership team and effectively work with other nursing leaders, Medical Group staff and physicians, including a physician partner, and other departments to create a center of excellence for ambulatory services and to meet or exceed the organization's mission, vision and goals of excellence, innovation and compassion.
