New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina is seeking a new administrator for its emergency services. As the dominant provider in the region, New Hanover is an 855-bed teaching hospital and serves as the regional referral and level II trauma center for a broad seven-county area.
The Administrator will have day-today oversight of three EDs, including the newly expanded and renovated main medical center ED (completed in March 2017), the orthopedic hospital campus, and a state-of-the-art stand-alone ED that opened in 2015. Key components of the role include:
Oversite of 3 campuses with approximately 140,000 patients per year
Total staff of roughly 270
40+ physicians across all locations
3 manager level direct reports (one at each location)
