We are pleased to announce that we’ve been retained to assist in the Chief Nursing Officer search for Mercy’s flagship hospital: Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center -Toledo, Ohio
Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center (St. Vincent) is a 474-bed not-for-profit faith based community teaching hospital serving the greater Toledo area. It is also home to the 66-bed Mercy Children’s Hospital (Mercy Children’s). Mercy St. Vincent is known nationally for its excellence in care delivery and serves as a major regional referral center.
Chief Nursing Officer
Reporting directly to the newly named President of Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, the Chief Nursing Officer is a key senior leader and member of the Executive Leadership Team. The CNO is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of nursing operations. The CNO will be a visionary leader that brings clinical solutions and exhibits a demonstrated ability to drive results, champion innovation and stimulate new thinking. Previous experience as a Chief Nursing Officer is strongly preferred; however, candidates with senior level nursing leadership experience will be considered. Experience in a teaching hospital setting is strongly preferred. Evidence of progressive experience in nursing leadership, including at least seven years experience in nursing administration in an acute care setting is required.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in nursing plus a graduate degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have a proven track record of progressive patient care leadership.
