JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Vice President, Nursing Patient Care Services provides direct leadership and is responsible for the practice of Nursing and Patient Care Services within the hospital by ensuring consistency in the standards of practice related to nursing care. Is a member of the Regional One Health Executive Team and participates with leaders related to the governing body, management, medical staff and clinical areas assigned to the hospital's decision making structures and processes in the delivery of nursing and patient care, treatment and services. This includes creating a nursing and patient care environment in which collaboration is valued, excellence in clinical care, education and research is promoted and achieved. The VP Nursing ensures the continued advancement of the profession of Nursing within the organization.

EDUCATION: MSN required.
EXPERIENCE: Seven (7) years of progressive nursing administration experience. A minimum of five (5) years management experience in an acute care hospital with documented achievements and leadership responsibilities is required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure in State of Tennessee.
