Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer Mount Sinai Downtown New York, NY
The Mount Sinai Heath System is investing more than $500 M to create the new Mount Sinai Downtown network, an expanded and unified network of state-of-the-art facilities. The new regional network will include:
A brand new Mount Sinai Beth Israel - a 220-bed hospital (150 behavioral health beds at MSBI's Bernstein Pavilion; plus 70 beds at the new hospital) and state-of-the-art Emergency Department.
New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
Mount Sinai Downtown Union Square offering new, specialized services including endoscopy, disease management programs, and a Respiratory Institute, and will be home to New York’s largest freestanding Urgent Care Center.
Mount Sinai Downtown Chelsea Center - a Cancer Center and Women's Center with integrated breast cancer and gynecology oncology services, upgraded technology and expanded mammography services.
Integrated Physician Practice Network with 16 practice locations and over 600 physicians serving one (1) M visits per year.
The investment will include the replacement of the current MSBI infrastructure and create a revolutionary network of greatly expanded primary, specialty, urgent, behavioral and outpatient surgery services to address the healthcare needs of today and the future. Encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and seven hospital campuses in the New York metropolitan area, as well as a large, regional ambulatory footprint, Mount Sinai is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in research, patient care, and education across a range of specialties.
