The Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at Mayo Clinic is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in both strategic and operational leadership in the development, deployment and integration of clinical information systems to support nurses, allied health staff, clinicians, and patients across the Mayo system. This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned candidate to partner with the CMIO and CIO of Mayo Clinic to leverage clinical information systems that support the entire clinical practice. This role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and has accountability for nursing and AHS in informatics across all of Mayo Clinic.
Qualified candidates will need to have a Master's degree in Nursing Informatics or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a Master’s degree in Informatics, or a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a post Graduate Informatics Certificate. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of progressive administrative line accountability experience, including nursing experience in both clinical practice and clinical informatics roles.
