Manager, Patient Care Services - Psychiatric Child & Adolescent Unit
The Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital is accepting applications for a Manager, Patient Care Services. In this role, you will be the leader of 60 employees (RNs, Mental Health Specialist and administrative related positions) to maintain the health and safety of all patients and staff members in the Psych Hospital.
As an RN leader, you will have comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for the Children & Adolescent clinical area. Your responsibilities include: fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of patient/family centered care and service, patient and staff satisfaction, program development, managing and developing teams, and ensuring integration with the clinical enterprise. Additionally, you will provide feedback, coaching and mentoring to less experienced peers and other members of the health care team.
BSN and Master’s degree required from an accredited program
Five (5) years of RN experience
Previous leadership experience is highly preferred
Prior experience working with Children & Adolescents preferred
TN Registered Nurse licensure required
NOTE: If the nursing degree at Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) level, then the master’s degree may be a non-nursing degree; with 5 years relevant experience
