Director of Patient and Family Information
As the Director of Family and Patient Information for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, you’ll serve on the vanguard of patient care, leading the next generation of patient education and overseeing its implementation on a global stage. We’re looking for a thought partner to revolutionize the way that patients and their families experience their diagnosis, treatment and recovery, and in this role, you’ll build a responsive catalog of resources that are as accessible as they are comprehensive. You’ll collaborate with hospital leadership and the global community we serve, utilizing needs assessment data to imagine, build, and maintain a comprehensive, multimedia database available to patients and their families at the push of a button, ensuring that our information services are aligned with the uncompromising standard of care for which we’re known.

Masters of Science in Nursing, Education, Health Information Management, Health Informatics or other health or education related degree required. Licensed registered nurse required. Doctorate preferred; leadership experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
Six (6) years of nursing experience including two (2) years of instructional design, website management, data analysis, report writing, and educational technology utilization required
Management, operational, and program management experience required. Pediatric and/or oncology nursing experience required
(LC: RN-TN) Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license, if primary residence is Tennessee, or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact state
(LC: RN-TN, RN-MISS, RN-ARK or RN-KY) Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence, if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
Certification in nursing executive leadership, education specialty or other national certification in pertinent field through the American Nurses Credentialing Association or the Association for Professional Nursing Development (APND) required within two (2) years of employment
