WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This position has a dual reporting relationship to the Senior VP of Nursing and Operations and the Senior Director of Clinical Operations of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. The role is a highly visible position with accountability for 12 nursing units. We are looking for a highly motivated, results oriented and passionate nursing leader. Successful applicants will be someone comfortable in a fast paced environment. In addition we are seeking someone who values collaboration and interprofessional relationships. Other critical characteristics include exemplary oral and written communication skills, as well as exhibiting a strong executive presence.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
MS or MSN required.
Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland.
BLS certification required
Cerification as Advance Nursing Executive preferred
5 years experience in nursing is required
3-5 years of management exp, required (preferred at Manager or Director Level)
Experience managing multiple units, preferred
Strong Communication Skills
Shift is Monday -- Friday DAYS, with 24/7 accountability
