Located in St. Louis, Missouri is a mid-sized hospital that is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee brand new Critical Care and Med/ Surg units (a total ADC of 34-36 patients). This hospital is in growth mode, so there are plenty of opportunities to develop and grow the program.
This Nurse Manager will have autonomy to shape, grow, and build a successful program. A supportive and collaborative-minded team will support this position.
Position Focus Nurse Manager Med / Surg and Intensive Care Unit
Will have 24-7 management responsibility for two Critical Care Units and two Med/Surg Units
Staffing and budgeting for FTEs.
Joint Commission survey preparation
Supervises 55 FTEs, including a Clinical Lead
Position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Requirements Nurse Manager Med / Surg and Intensive Care Unit
BSN preferred or in process of obtaining BSN
Minimum of two years’ experience in Critical Care nursing and a minimum of two years in Nursing Management.
Self-starter with an understanding of budgeting for FTEs
Joint Commission Survey experience
Psych experience a plus
