Senior Nursing Director – Practice Innovation
We’re looking for a clinical thought leader who can drive the creation of value-added patient care models and innovative nursing programs that encourage top-of-license practice and performance.
You should be a Maryland-licensed RN (or eligible) with an MSN and 5+ years of clinical operations and nursing leadership experience. (We will also consider a BSN with a related business or healthcare degree.) This high-visibility role also requires an understanding of emerging health care delivery and financing models, EMR optimization and data analytics.
Nursing education, nursing research, informatics, nursing performance improvement, patient education and additional ancillary departments report up to this position, which has operational and leadership accountability for:
Achieving exceptional patient outcomes consistent our goals and mission.
Motivating and inspiring change and cultural transformation.
Mentoring, coaching and developing a high- performing nursing team.
Directing nursing projects including optimization of nursing documentation in Epic
Developing a system-wide patient education model.
Conducting performance improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, and PDSA).
Building consensus and creating partnerships within a matrixed environment.
Assuming CNO duties in times of absence.
