PeaceHealth is hiring an Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) Manager- OR (Anesthesiology)!
PeaceHealth Southwest is looking for a talented Assistant RN Manager to assist in hiring, staffing, scheduling, orientation, performance assessment, budget monitoring, and patient care standard maintenance and establishment. In this position, you will provide leadership, management, and communication skills to your department under the supervision of the nurse manager.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader who can work within the scope of Registered Nurse Practice to provide, and counsel team members in, safe and efficient care to patients, their families, and visitors. As a leader, the Assistant Nurse Manager will use their nursing knowledge to evaluate work performance and recommend policy changes that will enhance PeaceHealth’s ability to achieve top quartile performance.
Qualifications for the Assistant RN Manager include:
Degree from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
Current registered WA nurse license
Minimum of three years’ applicable OR acute care nursing experience, preferably in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
Minimum of two years’ of supervisory/ leadership experience in healthcare
Thorough knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office applications
problem solving and managing time
budgeting and delivering financial results
working effectively in fast-paced, stressful situations
Lean process improvement
