This position is indirectly accountable for the nursing and clinical departments of the managed facilities. The position’s basic function is to ensure that high quality nursing/clinical care is provided within the managed facilities in an effective and efficient manner. This is accomplished through review of data submitted to Alliant Management Services, on-site consultative visits, development and maintenance of on-going relationships with chief executive officers, chief nursing officers as well as medical staffs and boards as indicated.
The job will require travel to the managed hospitals and hospital clients in various states.
Minimum educational requirement – BSN with a Master’s or higher in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
Demonstrate progressive management experience with previous experience as a Chief Nursing Officer for at least 3 years.
Knowledgeable about CMS Conditions of Participation and Joint Commission standards. Experience with mock surveys a plus.
Demonstrate proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and computer-based slide presentations development.
Knowledgeable about conducting and analyzing productivity.
Possesses good writing skills.
