Receiver’s Statewide Nurse Executive
$171,384 - $284,796 annually, depending on experience
CCHCS Headquarters – Elk Grove, CA
We are seeking a solutions-oriented, no nonsense nurse executive to provide oversight, organization, and leadership for the operations and delivery of all CCHCS patient care nursing services within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s 35 adult correctional facilities.
In this capacity, you will also:
Develop and monitor nursing performance expectations
Ensure quality clinical performance, access to care, and continuity of care
Direct the development and implementation of statewide nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
Assist with the formulation of operational and capital budgets
Continue CCHCS’ mission to provide quality health care to our diverse patient population
To thrive in this leadership role you must have:
Recent experience supervising a large nursing staff (ideally a minimum of 40 RNs)
Current CA RN licensure with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Services Administration
Five years of clinical nursing experience in a comprehensive medical setting, a minimum three years of which must have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity
Quality management experience
