The Director - Clinical Operations, Operating Room provides administrative direction to the multidisciplinary care center, emphasizing quality management and enhanced customer service. The Director is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care and is accountable for initiating and completing business and unit plans that ensure quality while utilizing available resources efficiently. This leader is accountable for aligning the care center's vision with the organization's mission, values, and excellence goals (people, service, financial, and clinical) and may also be responsible for 24-hour accountability.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Masters of Nursing or related field is required or actively enrolled.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license and must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
